i probably shouldnt have said it, so i'm sorry.
i try to think before i speak..but then my thoughts come out in written form and fly to you and i cant take them back. i forget that thinking before speaking is supposed to include thinking about what they need to hear more than what i need to say before i explode. because, no matter how true i think it is, i'm not going to realy explode....am i?

i have many thoughts that i selfishly want to throw out into another brain in hopes of recieving answers...but i'm holding onto them for your sake.
i wish you knew the thoughts and would thank me for not blurting them out to you.

maybe i'll dream that it happened and believe that it was real for long enough to be free of this.

my brother and i get to spend quality time with mister christopher lovely and mister michael springstead toward the end of this week. the combination iamusing. the activity is uncertain. maybe i should find out how to make tourists out of us for the day?

today i put in a request for nick and myself to have time off work in mid-april. the requested days are april 15th through 19th. the plan is to drive westward on the 15th, stopping first in butler, AL. then to eventually traverse to the forrest county area of mississppi to see the burg of hattie and catch a musical production while there. (into the woods, of course.) we'll return to the town of august in the month of april on the ninteenth day of the month and resume keeping bar at the coffee shop on the following.

the following are the recent sounds in my playlist in the order they chose to play themselves:
1.billy joel-she's got a way
2.norah jones-be here to love me
3.gabriela robin-green bird
4.chasing furies-writhe for hearing
5.coldplay-in my place
6.the real group-somna min vän
7.susan ashton-waiting for your love to come down
8.questions in dialect-resurrection of the dead

make note of the following:
pizza stays very hot for a few minutes after being removed from the oven.
when in a hurry, one should still allow time for pizza to cool before consuming.
one's first instinct after having the roof of the mouth scalded by pizza sauce and hot cheese is to remove the hot consumables from the mouth in one of two directions. (ie: inward, or outward)
it is wisest to choose the outward direction, though to swallow seems faster.
hot pizza sauce and cheese burns the inside of ones throat as well as the roof of the mouth.
ones first instinct to soothe sore throats is to consume warm beverages.
heat hurts burnt flesh.

when one's weekend starts more towards the end of the normal weekend and runs to halfway through the regular work week, it is expected to be a little more laidback than otherwise.
for my "weekend" i declared today my own personal saturday.
i slept till about 10:30, got up and had a bowl of cereal on the back deck, then spoke with my friend jennifer about taking a little bike trip.
jennifer has an extra bike at her house and lives within biking distance of a trail that suposably goes to a waterfall.
after ariving at jennifer's house, however, we discovered her extra bike has a flat tire at the moment, and she had no way of solving that problem on hand..so we opted to walk her dogs instead.
keep in mind that these two dogs are some sort of terrier..which means they are very small...cat-sized, realy.
and also keep in mind that walking dogs and riding bikes are completely different things....walking dogs takes a little bit more time..and patience.
we did find the trail, and had to carry to dogs over a metal bridge which spans the augusta canal, then we walked along the dirt road/trail as it followed the canal down to a point where it meets lake olmstead. our goal in this trip was to find the waterfall at lake olmstead, which occurs at the point where part of the canal and the lake meet. it was beautiful! we sat therebetween a creek and a waterfall for a few minutes on the warm rocks asthe dogs paniced about other people existing and tried to bark ferociously..hah (though his name is rufus, he is far from being the ferocious dog who should have such a name)
we returned home by way of lake olmstead, which was supposed to be a shorter route..but it turned out to be a little longer, though all neighborhood streets.
all in all, we were gone a little over 2 hours....quite a wonderful way to break up an otherwise normal week.

in stark contrast to my last post.....

spring has arrived and its time for flip flops, tank tops, and driving around with the windows down and the music loud!
